Discover places and events
Public venue and event discovery is open to everyone, led by Adult & Go-Go and followed by Gentlemen's Clubs.

Member Plus
More personal, never less useful.
MattBlack stays useful without an upgrade. Member Plus is being shaped around deeper personal value, not access to the basic nightlife network.
Direction, not checkout
The entitlement foundation and controlled subscription states exist, but self-service trials, prices, payment, activation, renewal, and cancellation are not available yet.

Verified members can check in at public venues, revisit recent entries, and delete any or all visible history.
The boundary
Free foundation. Optional depth.
This separates the product available today from the intended free network and the possible Member Plus layer.

|---|---|---|---|
| Browse venues and events | Available publicly | Remains free | Same core discovery |
| Reviews | Available to verified members | Remains free | No basic review paywall |
| Following and ordinary updates | Following, ordinary updates, and eligible venue announcements | Following remains free | Advanced alert controls |

The free and Member Plus columns describe product direction where the deeper functionality is not yet built.
Member Plus direction
Depth that becomes useful over time
Each paid benefit should provide recurring personal value and depend on a working free foundation.
A fuller night-out history
Full check-in history, personal statistics, export, and useful ways to revisit places beyond the recent free history.
More phrase organisation
Useful categories, favourites, curated sets, and other conveniences may add depth without turning MattBlack into a language course.
More precise alerts
Advanced event and venue alert controls after free following, ordinary updates, and preferences are implemented.
More ways to save places
Multiple or custom venue lists after a useful basic saved list exists for free members.
Clear answers
Before subscriptions exist
Can I buy Member Plus?
No. Controlled subscription states exist for development, but there is no public checkout, activation, trial, pricing, or payment processing for user memberships.
Will following and check-ins require payment?
Venue and employee following is free. Private check-ins and recent history are also free because both make the network useful. Member Plus may add deeper history and controls.
What phrase tools are available today?
Signed-in members can use personal and shared Thai phrases with generated TTS playback. MattBlack does not capture speech or offer a structured language course.
Will billing be monthly or annual?
Monthly and annual billing are product direction only. Prices, discounts, renewals, cancellation, and payment handling have not been implemented or finalized.
Self-service Member Plus subscriptions, trials, upgrades, renewals, and checkout are not active.
