Adult and go-go venues lead discovery, presented without objectifying language, explicit imagery, or a sleazy tone.

Real information over theatre

MattBlack uses published venue and event information and labels unavailable or planned features instead of simulating activity.

Commercial is not editorial

A paid plan, promoted placement, verification state, and community reputation are separate concepts.

Community controls

Reviews with accountability

The current review and reporting tools give members a voice while retaining practical moderation controls.

  • Verified participation

    Verified members can publish reviews on public venue pages and on eligible public worker or gallery pages.

  • Control your contribution

    Members can update their review and remove it from public display.

  • Report eligible content

    Eligible published reviews and gallery photos can be reported by another signed-in member for moderation.

  • Human moderation tools

    Platform administrators can hide or republish reviews and gallery photos, inspect reports, and record their resolution.

Important boundaries

What the labels do not mean

Trust depends on not stretching a product label beyond the evidence behind it.

Verification is not an endorsement

A listing or account status should confirm only the specific checks MattBlack has completed, not guarantee venue quality or conduct.

Plans are not ratings

Bronze, Silver, and Gold describe commercial capacity. They must not be presented as scores or proof that one venue is better than another.

Planned still means unavailable

Following, preferences, ordinary updates, and preference-controlled venue announcements are available to verified members. Check-ins, maps, advanced alerts, external delivery, and subscription purchasing remain unavailable until their controls and user experience are implemented.
